We have a house in Pbgh that was built around 1920. In the basement there is a place for a toilet. The area with the drain seat is a raised area about 2 in. high, in the shape of a commode base. I am wondering what kind of commode should we get for this. I don’t think an ordinary commode would fit, because it would not sit flush on the floor. Any help you can give will be appreciated.
